Bio

Orlando Perez is the Associate Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Millersville University. He has worked as a consultant on various topics, such as public opinion surveys, democratization, civil-military relations, and anti-corruption issues for USAID and the UNDP. He is a member of the Scientific Support Group for the Latin American Public Opinion Project at Vanderbilt University, and directs the Americas Barometer survey in Panama and Honduras. His teaching and research interests include comparative politics, Latin American politics, U.S.-Latin American relations, civil-military relations, public opinion, and empirical democratic theory. He holds a Master of Arts and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
